Creating a Quiz Shell

Once you have your questions in the database, you are ready to begin putting together a quiz. The first step in that process is to create a shell that will hold the questions you will select from the database.

  1. If you've been in the Questions Database, you'll want to go back to the Quizzes/Surveys screen in the Quizzes/Surveys tools by clicking the link at the top of the page.

  2. Click on the first button in the options area, "Create quiz".

  3. Enter a title for the quiz. This title will be what students see and serve as the link for them to begin the quiz.

  4. Click the "Create" button.
  5. You will be taken back to the main Quiz page where you should see the title of the quiz you created on the page. Right now, that is just a shell.

The next step is to add selected questions from the database to that quiz.
