Creating Quizzes in WebCT

The process of creating a quiz in WebCT really involves 6 separate steps, typically in the order below:

  1. Adding the Quizzes/Surveys tool to your course (if it's not already there).
  2. Building your question database by creating categories.
  3. Entering Questions into the database.
  4. Creating a quiz shell to hold a set of questions.
  5. Loading questions from the database into the desired quiz shell.
  6. Configuring settings for the quiz in terms of when students might access it, how scores will be revealed, etc.

Additionally, you may find a need for question types other than multiple choice. Questions types available in WebCT include:

  1. Multiple Choice
  2. Matching
  3. Calculation
  4. Short Answer
  5. Long Answer
