Matching Questions
Matching: students match items in two columns.
-
From your course Homepage, in Designer Options view (the default location and view when
you log in as an instructor), Click on the link you created with the Quiz/Survey Tool.
In this example, the link is titled "Quizzes".
-
Select "Question Bank" from the Quizzes/Surveys page.
-
You should see a page similar to the one below. Note the Category and Question Type selections
that must be made before creating the new question.
-
After selecting the desired category for your question, select
the type of question you wish to add from the drop-down box.
For this example, select "Matching" then click on "Go".
-
Enter the question title and the content of the question. One suggestion
is to use enough of the initial part of the actual question so that when
you see just a list of the titles, you will be able to easily associate
the title with the actual question.
-
In the "Settings" area,
make the appropriate choices to establish scoring and layout.
-
Type in the matched pairs.
-
Finally, type in any general question feedback and select "Save".
- To enter additional questions into this category, return to Step #4.
-
To view the specific instructions associated with creating the different question types, please click
the appropriate link below. Note that a True / False question is a form of a Multiple
Choice question. However, there are only two possible answers, either True or False.
