Using The Whiteboard

Whiteboard is a drawing tool that designers, students, and teaching assistants can use during an online discussion. Some instructors use the Chat Tool at the same time to add graphical capabilities to a chat. To do this you need to open two separate browser windows, and resize them so they both fit your screen This tool allows users to enter text, draw objects, insert graphics, and make modifications — especially useful for drawing and viewing diagrams in real-time.

You must add Whiteboard to your course before you and your students can use it.

  1. From the Control Panel, click on Add Page or Tool . The Add Page or Tool Menu appears. Look down the list to find Whiteboard and click on that link.
