Download Multiple Assignment Submissions

This section provides the instructions on downloading multiple student assignment submission files using a "zip file" utility.
  1. First, from your course Homepage, in Designer Options view (the default location and view when you log in as an instructor), Click on your Assignments Tool link. In this example, the link was titled "Assignments".

  2. You will get a screen lists all of the individual assignments you have posted to your WebCT course site. Find the Assignment for which you wish to view student submissions and Click on its Submissions button.

  3. Now you will see a screen listing the students registered for your class and their submissions for this assignment. Notice that a date and time will appear in the "Submissions" column for all students who actually have a submission for your review. To download multiple submissions, click the checkboxes next to the students' names. Now click in the Download button.

  4. Next, select save and file location from the familiar Windows file download utility pop-up screens.

  5. The file that you download will be a "Zip" file which contains all of the student files. You will need to "unzip" the files onto your local computer's drive before you can view their contents.
