Course Tools

Course Tools are the basic features of the course that will allow you to communicate with your classmates and your instructor, submit assignments, take tests, and make presentations. Some of the tools you may encounter in your course are:

Types Of Tools

  • Calendar - allows students and instructors to keep track of assignments, quizzes and other events in the course.
  • Chat - allows students and instructors to have real-time conversations with each other.
  • E-mail - allows students and instructors to send private messages to members of the course.
  • Discussion Board - allows students and instructors to send, read and search for public messages in the course.
  • Student Presentations Area - allows students to post their projects to the course so that other students can see them.
  • Quizzes - assess your understanding of the course content
